How we work

Identify Gaps in the market

Through our due diligence partners, we look at what the capabilities of specific organizations are and, very simply, what the world needs. We see our group as a connector organization. Through a comprehensive market research approach, we can determine with a very high likelihood of success, that a business is expandable, and that the market exists to support that expansion.

INvestment funds

Through equity purchase or business loans with reasonable interest rates, we are able to provide the growth strategy for Rwandan businesses that have passed the start up phase but need access to the market outside of East Africa. Through existing relationships, we can connect SME (small and medium enterprises) with the buyers, manage the logistics and assist with expansion strategy.

logistics support

In many cases, the logistics alone are too cumbersome for small and medium enterprises in Rwanda to be able to navigate. The government has performed remarkably well and has come to the aid of many of these businesses to assist, but sometimes capital and local expertise is the barrier to taking the first step. At Umubano Group, we have the Managing Directors, the staff and the network, all Rwandan based and Rwandan born, that will provide the next level of support that is needed.

International market access

Umubano group is an international network of support resources that have the connections to the shipping carriers and the food buyers that will have an interest in the products that are being grown, processed, and packaged in Rwanda. Through strong government partnerships and private enterprise, supply chains will be strengthened and grown. This will add value to both our customers as well as the farmers and processing employees that we serve.

With supply chain support and management, we can ensure quality from the field to the consumer.
